FractalFern VRChat Lamia 3D Character Model

This is a 3D Character commission I did for FractalFern of their snake/lamia person character! It was pretty fun trying to figure out how to get a snake lower body to work with VRChat's traditional humanoid rig that it expects. I was also pretty pleased with the textures, after trying to balance clothing/fold detail without making the design too busy visually. This model was sculpted in Zbrush, with unwrapping, additional modeling, and rigging in Blender. Textures were made through Substance Painter.

Some of the Diffuse maps I created in Substance Painter! I experimented with some soft baked-lighting to emphasize the folds of the clothing, and I'm very pleased with the result!
